Supertubes #1
One great thing about Central Portugal is that, assuming there are waves, there is almost always somewhere offshore. This became clear on a day trip I took to Peniche. The peninsula of Peniche protrudes off the West coast so that if the wind is out of the North, Supertubes is sure to be fun. If the wind is out of the South, one can drive five minute to the other side and surf more perfect offshore sandbars. This evening the sun was getting low and really glowing through the backs of these Supertubes gems.
